Magnetic Island retreat. Welcomed by Kevin the Kookaburra from Queensland who kept his beak shut, unlike ... 😏
Day 5
Townsville. Perfectly formed and made in Australia Tear Drop camper. Might enable those of you living in playboy mansions such as (name witheld) to get a little closer to the partner. Pic taken Seventh Day Adventist Camp, Ross River, Townsville. No alcohol and opportunity for a bit of spiritual renewal 😏
Day 4
Country Butcher, Outback Queensland. No frills, no short-cuts, forgive the pun 😑
Day 3
Cunnamulla to Roma via St George and Surat, Outback Queensland. This is the Shire Hall in Surat, population 407, according to the 2016 Census. Shire Hall inaugurated in1930. Features include a three-sided clock stopped for some reason at midnight, or midday. Note also the circular ventilating windows, a design feature peculiar to the structure. Surat named for Surat in Bombay Province before partition. Something about remote country towns that is affirming, gotta say.
Day 2
Hillston to Cunnamulla via Cobar, Bourke and Barringin. This is Peta from Mordialloc encountered outside Hillston driving her 12hp Deux Chevaux from Melbourne to the tip of the Cape York Peninsula and back again. She's done it before. Amazing!
Day 1
Barwon Heads to Hillston NSW via Shepparton, Tocumwal and Griffith. Touch of Andy Warhol, Shepparton, Victoria.
